Story Time

Listen to the next part of the story and answer the following questions: 

1. Why do you think Matteo insists they feed the birds whilst on the tightrope? Is he being excessively cruel? Is he testing her? Or is he trying to show her something wonderful?

2. When the blue tit lands on Sophie’s hand, the author describes her as ‘bejewelled’. What does this mean? What image does it create in your mind?

Reading

Make sure you read your reading book for at least 15 minutes a day. If you run out of books to read then Oxford Reading Tree have a large range of online books. Make sure you upload a photo of your reading record on a Friday.
