Starter Activity

Please start today by practicing either your 2 x 2 digit and 2 x 3 digit multiplication using the sheets below. Revisit my video from yesterday for guidance on the method. I have attached a multiplication grid and a step-by-step poster to help. 

Important: If you are confident with this method - you can move on to the White Rose Lesson. If you need to build up your confidence with this  - then focus on either 2 x2 digit or 3 x2 digit questions - you do not need to complete the White Rose lesson aswell.

Please see today's video by clicking on the link below. After watching the relevant video please complete the worksheet. It is important to show your working out so we can see the method that you are using. You MUST also use the answer sheet to check your answers - if there are any incorrect - have another go to see if you can get the correct answer.

STEM Activity - Design Technology/Science

A fun challenge for you this afternoon. Follow the guidance to make your very own Rocket Launcher. You do not have to print anything but there are templates if you require. 

Discuss the things to think and talk about with your grown up and investigate how you can improve your rocket. 

I would like you to write down the ways in which you improved or think you could improve your rocket to meet the investigate questions below.  I also can't wait to see your rocket launcher pictures.   Have fun and ask lots of questions!
