There are two options for today's activity.
1. KEY HOLE -
Choose a scene from your favourite book. Imagine you are peeping through a keyhole to catch a glimpse of the scene. Use the key hole template to draw what you would see. Can you show the atmosphere through your use of colour or by including certain objects or details?
Add labels to your sketch using post its, taking phrases or words from the text as evidence!
2. STORY CUBE -
Choose a story or chapter from a story your have read. Use the cube net above to create a story cube about it. Use drawings, sentences and thought bubbles to show information on each face of the cube as follows;
1, Setting
2, Main characters
3, Main event
4, Prediction of what could happen next
5, New words and meanings
6, Favourite part
Stick your cube together, roll it and tell someone at home or over video call what can be seen on each side!
