Pupil chaplaincy team

Our school's Chaplaincy Team has been reinstated this academic year.  It is comprised of two groups: the Worship Group, which is responsible for putting together Acts of Worship for whole-school and other groups throughout the year; and the Monitoring Group, which is responsible for monitoring class RE displays, running Bible Journaling Groups and showing visitors around.

Across all twenty-three schools in our St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust (CMAT), we have been challenged to raise money for the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development (CAFOD).

We held a "Go Green Day" on 1st October, for which we were set a challenge of raising £1.00 per person.  If we had reached our target we would have raised £240.00, but we 'smashed' that by raising an enormous £283.21!  Thank you to everyone who supported this worthy cause!

This work also links with our school aiming to gain the Eco Award.  Mrs. Dewis and I are the Eco Leads for our school and have  selected an Eco Team from across the school.

Eco Team members volunteered from the KS2 classes, giving us a team of twelve very motivated pupils who are keen to help us all to be more eco friendly!

St. Peter’s Whole-School Prayer

Dear God,

We want to be good followers of you in the way we behave. Please help us to:-

Share our things and share our love with everyone in our school;

Take care of each other;

Persevere with our learning and all that we do;

Encourage each other to be the best that we can be;

Treat everyone how we wish to be treated;

Endeavour to live by the Word of God;

Respect one another and the world we live in.

When we live in community we will spread your Gospel message and grow in faith together. Bless us in our efforts.  Amen.
